Nora Williams, having celebrated her th birthday last June, passed away peacefully September 27, at the Blakeford at Green Hills after a short illness. She worked professionally in the Human Resources department of Cain Sloan Company her entire business career. Nora was extremely fit and active into her very late 90's. After she retired she was a regular volunteer at Baptist Hospital in Nashville and was also a steady volunteer in the church offices of Belmont United Methodist Church.

She loved working in her yard including mowing her own grass into her mid 80's. Nora was a graduate of Hume Fogg High School and active in its reunion activities.
