The Style Chamber: From the moment we first met in Paris, you struck me as a person with a lot to say- through your work and your personal style.

In retrospect, what do you think you have most wanted to communicate and express to the world all of these years since your label began almost 20 years ago? TSC: The theme, concept, and story seem to be integral to all your collections. Could you take us through your creative process for the AW13 collection? TSC: There is an unmistakable rebelliousness about your work, particularly in regard to your choice of materials.

What drives you to reject certain societal conventions? Is it important to challenge the status quo? Was it an easy or difficult transition? Knowing what you know now, if you could go back in time and give yourself some advice, what would it be?
