When I came to get my car everything was very smooth. City volkswagen is a great place. I have purchased two vehicles from them and the service so far has been extraordinary.
I have received excellent customer service from all staff but especially from sales associate Kamila Labuda. She sold me my last car and I was ready to close the deal before she even began her sales routine.
She is very charismatic and full of knowledge of Volkswagen products and services. When i purchased my car, she made me feel comfortable and never rushed me or try to sell me something I did not need. I would recommend anyone to utilize her for their car purchasing needs. After I bought the vehicle, she promptly followed up to see how everything was going. She is always enthusiastic about her job, which is buy I will surely buy from her in the future.
Upon leaving Chicago to return to Ohio , my check engine light came on and my ""bug"" was running rough. Although it was Pres. Day, they squeezed me in and checked it out, assuring me it was safe to drive home. If I lived in Chicago, this would be the service dept. I would go to! My daughter, who lives in Chicago, spent years trying to solve a problem with her ""bug"" at another VW dealership with no success.
Upon taking it to City Volkswagon, the problem was fixed first time! Don't go unless you want to receive no appreciation, be lied to, have things about the car be told to you that aren't true, or for that matter, safe! You'd just think that being sales, the sales people would be better than that since they are paid on commission. Both of my experiences have been smooth with all financial terms in easy to understand lingo. Thank you Autobarn and Raul!

VWs sell themselves so Marty had an easy job with me but I enjoyed talking about cars with him. Autobarn is full of car enthusiasts If you want to have a fun time buying a cafr and build a long lasting dealership, this is the place to go Oh and I can't forget to mention the free car washes!

My sales consultant was Sam, he was very professional and knew his product. He had me test drive 3 different models and explained the different features each provided until I was sure which would be the best for me.
After deciding on the Passat, they didn't have the color I wanted so they checked with other dealerships and located the one I selected. I then spoke with the sales manager Ryan, we went over what I would receive for my trade-in, which was a very fair price.
He was informative and helped make my sale go smoothly. We came to an agreement on the price and then I was taken to Scott in finance who explained everything very carefully. The following day I returned to pick up my new car, they went over the entire car with me and again explained the various features.
I was very pleased with my overall experience with the Autobarn and would definitely recommend them to family and friends. All in all, it was an exceptional experience. Their inventory is extensive, the service is great and it was virtually hassle-free. I was looking to purchase a used Mercedes SUV and the selection was great here. I went to the autobarn a couple days ago to trade in my car and get a newer one. Everyone was very nice.
And my salesman Yoram was just as great helping me with test driving, and papers. It was my best experience when buying a car, I highly recommend coming here to buy your next. They have 2, cars to chose from! Our salesperson Elvir Hamulic was a wonderful person. He was very helpful, his customer service was excellent and went above and beyond helping me and my husband.
Patrick Mcdonald was our salesperson. He was really great; he knew the car s - we bought two , was patient and thorough. He explained all the infotainment technology clearly. He did not make us wait unnecessarily. He was also pleasant. Sam Fraint. Jeff Frank was the service person who helped me. I told him what I needed and he had it done! No expensive add ons! He was knowledgeable and helpful in reminding me what would be needed on my next service.
Everything was great! Love my car and Patrick Mcdonald went above and beyond to satisfy my purchase. I would recommend friends and family to this location. I am very satisfied with the service appointment for my Passat at the Autobarn Evanston. Chris Williams was very helpful and made the experience a good one. I am impressed with the service shop and I hope I can count on them in the future.
I also like the interior design of the service area. Real "VW" look!! Loved it. I love my VW Jetta. Beginning and ending each service visit, I continue to be pleasantly surprised by the level of professionalism, respect for it's customers, and quality of service. The waiting area is clean, comfortable, and provides a work station for your laptop! The costs of repairs were competitive with quality service stations. Aside from oil changes and regularly scheduled service on my '02 Certified Pre Owned Passat, City VW found three factory recalls that two previous VW dealerships missed.
